Hammie the witch. This year she wasn't so bothered by it, and actually let us take her picture!
We couldn't find the costumes we wanted this year, so we decided to have a competition and MAKE the costumes ourselves! I made Maddie's (with the help of my mom) and Joe made Ben's.
Ben was Lightning McQueen. Daddy made his car out of boxes, tin foil, spray paint and suspenders. The hood opened to put candy in! Ben was the winner of our "friendly" competition by a landslide. Every single stinkin' house made a huge production of how cute he was. ...Good thing we didn't place bets!
Maddie had so much fun being a lion!! And even if she isn't the winner, I think she's pretty darn cute :)
Our friends, the Wilm's, invited us to trick or treat with them! Here's Ben, Maddie, Reese (7), Eli (2 1/2) and Cora (5) before we headed out. We met the Wilm's through our church. They only live a few minutes from us, and we have really enjoyed getting to know them all!
