I'm pretty sure this is the first time they had cotton candy. Maddie just *hated* it, as you can tell. ;) Ben's picture is on the left. He wasn't as much of a fan as it appears. Ben has..."visual issues" with food. Even if it's something yummy like chocolate. If it looks funny at all to him, he won't eat it. Case in point: cotton candy. Oh well, less clean up for me!
The coolest part about the day was that it was "Kids Run the Bases" day! During the ninth inning, we lined up in the back of the stadium. After it was over (and we won!), we walked out onto right field and around to first base for the start. Joe secretly hoped that one of the kids would have a meltdown so he could run with them. Haha!! I kind of figured one would, but low and behold, everyone made it!
Considering how tired Ben was, the fact that he made it around without freaking out is a miracle. But he did really well! I think they both enjoyed it a lot, even if they don't quite understand how stinkin' cool it was....we'll tell them when they're older :)
What a fun fun afternoon!! Going with the Keslers was the best part. We were so happy to spend such a special event with good friends! Thanks guys!!

How fun for you to go to a Mariner's game!! I'd say you have some young runners:) Love, Katie
Looks like you guys had fun. Too bad there wasn't time for a get together. Oh well, another time.
