It was a lot of fun for all of us. Ben kept saying "rain rain!" (translation: train) and Maddie had lots of fun causing trouble. We'll definitely do it again sometime, but maybe take a shorter trip.

Light Rail
For Joe's birthday (we won't mention what number), he wanted to go on the light rail! We got on at the Tukwila station (which is currently the furthest you can go. Soon it will go to the airport) and rode all the way up to Westlake Plaza. The kids were SSSOOO excited when we started, but I think the ride was a little too long for them. With all the stops, it's about 45 minutes one way! At Westlake we got out for a bathroom break and to stretch our legs a bit.

We are going to do this on Saturday since we have tickets to The Imagination Movers and the theater is only 3 blocks from Westlake. I'm so excited. Owen loves the train and he's going to be thrilled. The website says it's only takes 34 mins to get from Tukwila to Westlake so I'm glad I read this...we wouldn't want to be late for the show!! :) :)
Oh next time you go, you've got to take the kids on the carousel just across the street from the mall. It's there for the holidays.
There's also the horse and buggie rides right out there.
Eating at the food court is always a treat too.
Just some more ideas for when they're ready for a longer day in Seattle.
