The bad news: The "snaggletooth" has to come out. Which means, if worse comes to worse, she'll have to be sedated to get it out. Mama's not looking forward to that at all. But we're going to do it at Grandpa Dick's office, so hopefully that will help her be less scared. And if not...at least it wasn't at the dentist's office! LOL!! ...It also means that Maddie will be without a tooth for several years. Poor girl :( But it's for the best.
Here she is after the x-ray but before the exam. She was shaking like a little leaf, poor thing!
Our favorite dentist, Dr. Kim Anardi! His son, Jared, was in our wedding :)
The cleaning begins. Once they started, she did much better.
How cool are these shades?!
When she was done, it was my turn to get my teeth cleaned. Ben had an accident, and Joe brought her in to sit with me while he cleaned up. She was utterly fascinated by what was going on! Who knows!! Maybe we have a future dentist on our hands?!

Hey Miss Maddie,
Aunt Annie is SO very proud of you! We use cool shades at our office also. I hope you got some great prizes for being such a great patient!
Love Aunt Anne
