Hood Canal

On Saturday, we headed over to the Hood Canal to hang out with the Anardi's. It is so much fun to be with them!! They are all so sweet (don't tell Jared I called him that), warm, and welcoming. It's so relaxing to come and spend time just laughing the day away :)

Here's Hammie with her new friends Niko (the 40 lb. "puppy") and Roma (Golden Retriever Ryder not pictured). They are all HUGE dogs, but Hammie didn't let that bother her. Niko and Hammie played all day long, but very gently. It was fun to watch!

Here's Jared, Anthony, and Maddie looking at Hermit crabs. They are all over the beach there. The kids got a kick out of seeing all the Herman and Sally's. Maddie loved holding them. Ben just liked to look.

This kid of ours still amazes me. Muscles, Oysters, and a dozen clams in that girl. Everyone is still impressed by it!

Jared and Joe took the kids for their first boat ride. Ben wasn't so sure at first, but he calmed down. They seemed to really enjoy it. Maddie loved her life jacket best, and wore it for a long time afterward. Hehe!

Here are the kids eating their very first S'mores. I actually think I might be a terrible mom for not making them earlier! However, I'd like you to look closely at their eyes. These little twerps are absolutely exhausted!! Neither took a nap, and instead, played out in the sun all afternoon. It only took them 11 minutes to pass out completely in the car. They didn't even wake up at the Tacoma Narrows Toll Booth!
