Top ten things we love about Christmas in Spokane

1. Rice Krispie treats made, with love, by Papa. I actually let the kids have one or two ;)
   
   
2. Air. Somehow the air is better in Spokane (less smog?). There are less people; maybe there's more of it?! Either way, we always feel like we breath better there.
   
   
3. Games. After the kids go to bed, my parents, Joe and I play games! It's a lot of fun and can get very competitive.

5. The Littlest Angel. Every Christmas Eve we read The Littlest Angel. This year, Ben decided to ACT OUT the role as well. He was all over the place, running, climbing, giggling, and yelling while the adults tried to read the story. Luckily, only Joe and I were annoyed.
   













6. Presents! Yep, gotta go there. Who doesn't love opening presents?!
















7. Food. Between a fabulous breakfast at the Ames' and dinner at my parents, there is never a want for food. ....This was quite torturous for me, as I'm on a diet, but everyone else enjoyed it.
   
8. Helicopters and Uncles. Joe's parents bought all the big boys matching helicoptors for Christmas. Everyone had a great time flying them (except me. Joe wouldn't let me try it. The batteries needed charged every time. ....right....)
   














9. Family. Spokane wouldn't be "home" without family. Our standing Christmas dinner every year is my favorite part! Getting to be with all four grandparents. Seeing friends and family we rarely see. There's just no better reason for living than to spend time with the ones you love most in the whole world.
   
10. CHRIST! No matter where we are, we celebrate the birth of Christ.
